As I celebrate Shavuot in Israel, I’ve just returned from a deeply meaningful vacation in Italy with my two sisters—a rare and much-needed reunion. Living i

n Israel while they are based in the U.S. means we don't get nearly enough time together, making this trip especially personal and emotional. Saying goodbye at the airport was difficult, but I returned home feeling grateful for the time we shared.

As soon as I landed, I hit the ground running. That same evening, I hosted a Tribe Tel Aviv Sunset Series panel featuring three leading voices in artificial intelligence, including internationally renowned AI expert Dr. Eli David.

The energy in the room was electric. Guests asked big questions about technology, the future of work, and how artificial intelligence may reshape our lives. While some of the discussion focused on concerns about AI replacing jobs, I was able to bring some humor into the conversation and help people engage with these challenging ideas in a thoughtful way.

Preparing for Shavuot in Israel

As I prepare for Shavuot in Israel, I find myself reflecting on both modern innovation and ancient wisdom. From conversations about artificial intelligence to studying the Torah, this week has been a reminder that growth comes from asking meaningful questions and remaining open to new ideas.

This Shavuot, I will be speaking at Tribe Tel Aviv’s holiday program. My talk, Listening to Our Inner Voice and Receiving the Torah, explores how sacred texts can unite us while still allowing room for personal creativity, interpretation, and authentic self-expression.

The holiday commemorates the moment the Jewish people received the Torah at Mount Sinai. For me, one of its most powerful lessons is that when we share our truest thoughts and ideas, we become vessels for inspiring others.

I look forward to discussing these themes with more than 100 international guests gathering in Tel Aviv for this meaningful pilgrimage festival.

Wishing you a joyful, meaningful, and inspiring Shavuot.
